Diablo Octane CALLAWAY Driver

With its new partnership with Automobili Lamborghini, Callaway is bringing new materials for industry of golf equipment. the first products of this Duet are drivers and Fairway Woods octane Diablo.

The material in question is forged compound, which is composed of more than 500000 turbostratic intertwined fibres per square inch. Callaway says it is one third the density of titanium, but with a greater cargo capacity per unit mass in bending. This allows apparently Callaway create a taco with greater transfer of power of impact and more accurately than its competitors all-titanium.

I would love to give this a try.

New drivers Mark Debut of Composite (TM) forged, Callaway Material lighter, stronger, more accurate Ever has used
CARLSBAD, California, 14 October 2010/PRNewswire via COMTEX/–

The performance characteristics of Composite forged, a material developed in conjunction with research partners and development Automobili Lamborghini, allowed Callaway engineers develop a taco advanced with greater transfer of power of impact and more accurate trajectories versus their counterparts all-titanium.

“Applying composite forged in conjunction with a proprietary isothermal forging process generated a measurable performance advantage over metal alloys typically used in the manufacture of golf clubs,” said Dr. Alan Hocknell, Senior Vice President, research and development, Callaway Golf. “Diablo octane drivers are configured to offer unmatched power and precision through superior design, construction and advanced materials”.

Employ forged Crown composite driver octane Diablo allowed Callaway engineers define precisely the taco Centre of gravity (CG) and moment of inertia (MOI) to promote accurate trajectories. This taco lighter, more efficient then is combined with an axis more time to increase the speed of head and power at impact for longer distances. Furthermore, Diablo Octane hyperbolic Face Drivers include proprietary Technology (TM) of Callaway, which uses a chemical milling process to provide a larger sweet spot and efficiency of greatest impact. in General, Diablo Octane of Callaway powers drives beyond its predecessor of all-titanium by an average distance of eight meters.

Diablo Octane Tour models feature a header size slightly smaller than standard models, a full hosel and look more open in preferred address for skilled players.Diablo Octane Drivers come with a graphite Project axis (X) that is 46 inches in the standard model and 45.5 inch model of the Tour. About the Composite forged

Forged compound material is lighter, stronger, more accurate than Callaway never has This revolutionary material employee. encompassing over 500000 turbostratic intertwined fibres per square inch, has an incredibly high threshold to resist extreme forces encountered by Lamborghini products and Callaway. Forged compound is one third the density of titanium, still has a higher load capacity per unit mass in bending. implementing a new and unique isothermal forging process allows engineers Callaway and Lamborghini to incorporate composite forged in your projects with a level of precision that was previously unattainable.

About Callaway Golf-Automobili Lamborghini partnership

On 30 September 2010, Callaway Golf and Automobili Lamborghini announced an agreement to link their resources and development research teams world-renowned. This unique Alliance establishes an ongoing partnership to develop innovative technologies and materials, such as forged composite collaborative, the first element of this Union.

The origins of this recently formalized relationship date back several years through the constant search of materials lighter and stronger, the research and development teams Callaway and Lamborghini similar areas of expertise cultivated. an important point of convergence between the development of advanced composite structures. these highly developed materials composed of microscopic carbon fibres feature notable strength and performance characteristics compared with metal alloys that are commonly used throughout the automotive and golf industries.
